BRING JOYRIDE TO LIFE:

AN INCLUSIVE BIKE HUB & CAFE COMING TO FORT COLLINS, CO

Joyride is being built by people who ride, wrench, organize, and care deeply about everyone feeling welcome in bike spaces. This is about more than a shop. It’s about creating a place where people feel at ease, seen, and excited to come back. We have the vision, the community, and early seed funding. Now we’re asking for your help to bring it to life.

Help Bring Joyride to Life

WHAT IS JOYRIDE?

Joyride is a bike repair shop, cafe, and community space designed to feel open, human, and approachable.

✦ Women- and queer-owned
✦ Intentionally alcohol-free
✦ Built for people across experience levels, identities, and relationships to cycling

Joyride brings bikes, coffee, and community together under one roof. You can stop in for a repair, a cup of coffee, a group ride, or simply a place to sit without pressure or pretense.

THE VISION

Joyride is envisioned as a welcoming hub for people who have not always felt seen in traditional bike shops or riding scenes.

It’s a third space centered around cycling, especially for the bike-curious, women, LGBTQ+ folks, and anyone seeking connection without alcohol.

Picture a weekend morning at Joyride. Someone rolls in with a squeaky bike and a little hesitation. They’re greeted with a smile, a cup of coffee, and a clear, friendly conversation about what’s going on with their bike. No judgment. No jargon.

Nearby, a small group gathers for a casual, no-drop ride. There’s conversation and laughter as people catch up on life. Others linger with pastries, browse local goods, or make a mental note to come back for a workshop later in the week.

Throughout the day, people come and go. The bike-curious. Longtime riders. Folks stopping in for a great cup of coffee. Friends meet friends. Strangers become friends.

By the end of the day, Joyride feels less like a shop and more like a community living room. A place to learn, belong, and ride on your own terms.

We’re building a place where connection happens through:

✦ Bike repair and education

✦ Group rides and workshops

✦ A cozy cafe with coffee and light bites

✦ Thoughtfully curated retail from like-minded brands

At its core, Joyride is a blueprint for reimagining cycling culture through softness, joy, and community empowerment.

WHY SUPPORT MATTERS NOW

We’ve secured early seed funding and invested in design and planning. Community support at this stage helps us:

✦ Secure and prepare a permanent space

✦ Outfit a functional bike shop and cafe

✦ Open in a way that prioritizes people and sustainability

✦ Reduce reliance on inflexible, high-interest loans

Your support helps turn momentum into a real, physical place.

BE A PART OF JOYRIDE

Whether or not you’ve joined a ride, attended an event, or fixed a bike with us before, you’ll have a home at Joyride.

There will be many ways to be involved as we grow. Right now, support helps lay the foundation.

If you’re interested in making a larger contribution or supporting Joyride outside of our main fundraising campaign, we’d love to connect. Please reach out to us directly at joyridefoco@gmail.com.

WHAT’S AHEAD

We’re working toward opening a permanent Joyride location by Fall 2026, with pop-ups and community gatherings along the way.

This space is already taking shape. Your support helps determine how fully we can bring it to life.

Joyride is being built with intention, care, and community at the center.

If you believe bike spaces can feel more welcoming, more human, and more joyful, you’re already part of this.
